My August Reading List

Oh Where To Begin..

The month of August was filled with a wide variety of novels that left me feeling inspired! This year I’ve been reading informational books related to my field of study, but I vowed to stick to fiction while on vacation mode and I’m so glad I did. Check out my August reading list below. Everything will be linked in case you can’t wait and need to order from Amazon… because Prime is the best thing since sliced bread.

My list is in the order I read the books and not necessarily how I would rate them. Enjoy!

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

An inspiring novel that didn’t leave me disappointed! The book most definitely lived up to the “hype” everyone has been creating around it. I’m glad I jumped on board to read it while on vacation. I flew through this on the plane and while soaking up the sun on the beach. A great read!

The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty

A suspenseful novel that left me on my toes!

” Imagine that your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret – something with the potential to destroy not just the life you built together, but the lives of others as well. Imagine, then, that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive… ”

The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo

A beautiful and heart wrenching story. I couldn’t put this one down! I read it in one day, which left my face puffy and my heart full.

The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur

Rupi’s second collection of beautiful and inspiring poetry that takes you with her along a journey of growth and healing.

If you feel a tug, pick up one of these books and get to reading. In the meantime, i’m off to find new good books to read and share here next month!
